LAMBORGHINI PRESENTS THE LANZADOR: FUTURE ELECTRIC EMOTION

Lamborghini presents the Lanzador concept car at Monterey Car Week, a visionary preview of the company's upcoming fourth model unveiled and planned for 2028. The concept car marks a significant step forward in the decarbonization and electrification journey announced in 2021 as part of the “Direzione Cor Tauri” strategy.

With a unique four-seater Grand Touring design, the Lanzador stands out for its rebellious and futuristic design, which preserves Lamborghini's incomparable DNA, characterized by charisma and an uncompromising sporting character. It promises a unique experience of its kind, dedicated to a new generation of customers who are pioneers in technology. Stephan Winkelmann, CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, said:“With this concept, we are inaugurating a new car segment: the Ultra GT. It will offer customers a new and incomparable driving experience, characteristic of Lamborghini, thanks to cutting-edge technologies. »

The vehicle is equipped with two electric motors, one for each axle, to guarantee all-wheel drive and efficiency whatever the gear engaged, the road surface and the driving style. The maximum power of the system exceeds one megawatt.

The driver can adjust the control systems himself while driving, using the controls on the sports steering wheel. The driver can therefore actively modify the behavior of the car and create a personal profile to best express their driving needs and guarantee emotions never felt before.

The new version of the driving dynamics control system, Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata (LDVI), will set a new benchmark for the Sant'Agata Bolognese manufacturer, both for concept cars and upcoming production vehicles . This control system offers drivers unprecedented freedom of customization and allows them to modulate active control systems to best meet their driving needs.

Another key element of the Lanzador is Active Aerodynamics, which uses active aerodynamic systems at the front and rear to optimize aerodynamic efficiency in different driving modes. Thanks to this technology, the concept car can regulate the air flow in a specific manner, increasing the autonomy in Urban mode and improving the aerodynamic load in Performance mode.

In addition, thanks to the steering rear axle and the air suspensions, the Lanzador adapts perfectly to any road surface and to the parameters defined by the driver, adjustable quickly and directly during the journey via the controls present on the flying.

With the Lanzador, Lamborghini is looking into the future and planning new stylistic solutions not only for the exterior but also for the interior, offering a new experience in terms of space and comfort.

The interior of the concept car is a truly futuristic space, which incorporates Lamborghini's “Feel like a pilot” approach. The driver and passenger are welcomed into an ergonomic environment, equipped with a light and thin control panel, which allows the behavior of the car to be actively modified while driving. The sustainable materials used for the cabin, such as merino wool and regenerated carbon, demonstrate the company's commitment to reducing its environmental impact without sacrificing the luxury and comfort characteristic of a Lamborghini. Certain non-visible plastic elements, such as the foam in the sports seats, are made with 3D printed recycled fibers.

The Lanzador represents a real turning point for Lamborghini, which is actively working on the electrification of its vehicle range and decarbonization. The new concept car is part of a broad strategy aimed at reducing CO2 emissions and adopting a more sustainable vision for the future.

A future focused on electrification is the direction in which the company is heading, while firmly retaining certain elements such as performance, cutting-edge technologies, exclusive design and its leading position in the luxury vehicle sector .
