The two Italian industry leaders embark on a new chapter
The partnership between two undisputed icons of Italian industry, Lamborghini and Ducati, has always been fertile ground for the creation of unique projects capable of thrilling motorcycle enthusiasts and collectors around the world, thanks to the super-sporty DNA of both manufacturers.
This highly successful collaboration is now embarking on an exciting new chapter, exploring uncharted horizons that will culminate in an incredible display of cutting-edge creativity during Milan Design Week on April 9.
Previous collaborations between Ducati and Lamborghini have shown how the pursuit of shared values—such as the authenticity of “Made in Italy,” a commitment to sporting excellence, and pioneering design—can give rise to truly original projects.
The first example was the Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini, inspired by the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 and unveiled on November 25, 2020, in a limited edition of 630 units. This motorcycle reinterpreted the iconic styling cues of one of the brand's most iconic cars.
Developed from the Ducati Diavel 1260 S, the Lamborghini version has been radically transformed in its most distinctive features, fully reflecting the principles of advanced engineering. The preference for noble and lightweight materials, characteristic of the supercars manufactured in Sant'Agata Bolognese, has been translated into the extensive use of carbon fiber on many components to further enhance performance. The design of the Diavel 1260 Lamborghini is the result of creative synergy between Ducati Centro Stile and Lamborghini Centro Stile, combining the stylistic authenticity of both brands.
The success of this first project laid the foundations for an equally exciting second chapter: the Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini, inspired by the uncompromising power and extreme engineering of the Lamborghini Huracán STO.
Unveiled at the San Marino and Rimini Riviera Grand Prix in September 2022, this motorcycle strengthened the bond between the two brands, embodying the style and performance of a true Lamborghini supercar in motorcycle form while retaining the racing DNA of both manufacturers. This limited and numbered edition was also a resounding success, with 630 units produced, as well as 63 exclusive models reserved for Lamborghini customers, demonstrating the authenticity and originality of the project.
Today, excitement is building around the third chapter of this exceptional partnership. Ducati and Lamborghini are ready to celebrate their union, based on extreme performance, cutting-edge engineering, and shared DNA, at the prestigious Milano Design Week on April 9.
