Andrea Giani, one of the greatest volleyball players of all time, recently paid a visit to the Automobili Lamborghini headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese. Currently a trainer of the German national team and coach of Modena Volley in Super Lega, during his career he was a (very rare) example of universal player – middle blocker, opposite and outside hitter. Versatility is his strength, and it is not just by chance that he has a soft spot for Lamborghini Urus…
Wearing the classic Italian blue jersey, Andrea holds the record of presences of the men’s national team (474), attained three consecutive victories at the World Championship, four at the European Championship and three consecutive Olympic medals. He was conferred the honor of Knight Order of Merit of the Italian Republic and the honor of Official Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
