Automobili Lamborghini has obtained “Top Employer Italia 2021” certification for the eighth year running. It is awarded by the Top Employers Institute, a body that certifies the companies that have the highest standards of quality in terms of human capital management.
During a year as peculiar as the one that just came to an end, we seized the opportunity in its complexity to pursue a new humanism that focuses on the individual and his or her needs, starting from active listening and careful consideration of the differences aimed at developing the uniqueness of each person.
Flexibility, digitization, and social responsibility are the keywords of the company’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Last March, when activities were temporarily suspended, we started up important social responsibility projects, such as reconverting some departments of the Sant’Agata plant to produce face masks and medical visors for the S. Orsola Hospital in Bologna, and working together with SIARE Engineering International Group to make lung simulators.
The innovative projects that already exist to support Diversity & Inclusion strategies include Lamborghini’s encouragement of parental equality and its confirmation of equal wages for men and women. Investments in the digital field are also significant, such as the “Fermarsi e Formarsi” (“Stop and Train”) initiative, a collection of tips on how to invest time during the quarantine; and also the launch of several webinars with a panel of experts to support the employee’s psychophysical well-being. Also created was an e-learning platform, “Lamborghini Learning Place”, a virtual and interdepartmental space dedicated to an exchange of proficiencies between colleagues.
On the subject of Work-Life Integration, a number of flexibility tools supporting the income of employees and work organization aspects were implemented. In agreement with the company’s unitary union representative body, recourse to smart working was boosted and flexible use of vacation time was planned. The Banca Ore Solidale (United Working Time Account) was launched to support colleagues in dire straits.
Through this initiative, employees can donate accrued seniority vacation time and accumulated hours to the annual Working Time Account.
The strength of a company is recognized in its people, and now more than ever before motivation and involvement are important to continue to reach significant goals together.
