President of the Emilia-Romagna Region Stefano Bonaccini toured the Lamborghini facilities in Sant’Agata Bolognese today, June 21, accompanied by Vincenzo Colla, Regional Councilor for Economic Development and Green Economy, Labor and Training. The purpose of their visit was to take a closer look at the topics of “Direzione Cor Tauri”, the development program focused on the decarbonization of the future models and of the production site of the House of Sant’Agata.
Lamborghini Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann said, “The promise that we made, supported by the biggest investment plan of the Company’s history, is proof of our profound dedication not only to our customers, but also to the Region where we were born, Emilia-Romagna, our people and our families, to take the values of Made in Italy production higher and higher and to raise the level of attractiveness and competitiveness of this land unique in the world.”

The tour started off from MUDETEC, which hosts the new installation dedicated to the 50th Anniversary of the iconic Countach model, to continue through the production plants and a tour of the construction sites already opened, which demonstrate the potentials set in motion in this new investment phase. True to authentic Lamborghini tradition, the thrust for innovation will accompany the ecological transition process launched for an even more sustainable future.
