SHANGHAI MOTOR SHOW 2021: PREVIEW OF THREE LAMBORGHINIS

Lamborghini fired up the Shanghai Motor Show by previewing three models that once again demonstrate the brand’s passion and sporting DNA. Following the astonishing results of 2020, with the highest level of profitability ever achieved and the second highest value in its history in terms of turnover and sales, the brand confirmed the extremely positive trend with the world premiere of the Essenza SCV12, the Chinese debut of the Huracán STO and the Asia-Pacific debut of the Huracán EVO Fluo Capsule.

World premiere of Essenza SCV12

Lamborghini Essenza SCV12, produced in a limited edition of 40 units, features innovative solutions that create a new extreme driving experience, with a futuristic design that inherits all the brand’s iconic elements while at the same time achieves a balance between light weight, functionality and aesthetics.

Each Essenza SCV12 customer will join an exclusive club where they can drive their hypercar on the most prestigious circuits around the world and participate in exclusive training programs similar to the ones taken by the official drivers.

Huracán STO debuts in China

Making its first appearance in China, the Huracán STO represents the purest embodiment of Lamborghini Squadra Corse’s skill and heritage. Thanks to its powerful naturally aspirated V10 engine, the rear-wheel-drive Huracán STO can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.0 seconds, from 0 to 200 km/h in 9.0 seconds, and reach a top speed of 310 km/h.

The Huracán STO is the ideal car for those who want to experience the same adrenaline and excitement as driving a racing car. Owners can personalize both the exterior and interior of their road-legal car down to the smallest detail with the Ad Personam service. With a vast selection of color and trim combinations, the choice for Huracán STO owners is virtually unlimited.

Huracán EVO Fluo Capsule on display for the first time in Asia-Pacific

Launched in November 2020, the Huracán EVO Fluo Capsule is a bold yet elegant collection of bright, vibrant colors designed for the V10 super sports car, which features matte exterior paint and complementary interior color and trim options.

Presented in the Verde Shock (green) color, which highlights its inimitable forms and lines, the Huracán EVO Fluo Capsule offers four other interior and exterior configurations in Arancio Livrea (orange), Celeste Fedra (light blue), Arancio Dac (orange) and Giallo Clarus (yellow), combined with matte black detailing and colored decorative lines – a further level of variety and customization of the virtually endless possibilities offered by Lamborghini Ad Personam.

Urus among the new cars on display

The range exhibited at the Lamborghini stand also includes an Urus in the Bianco Monocerus (white) color, for an all-around presentation of the Italian company’s unrivalled product profiles and adventurous lifestyle. The Super SUV on display was fitted with optional 23’’ glossy black Taigete wheels, a nod to the brand’s sporty spirit and exclusive luxury. The red calipers, available as an option on this SUV with the soul of a super sports car, are synonymous with pure performance.

Stephan Winkelmann, who has returned to lead Lamborghini after five years, had this to say about the excellent reception at the Shanghai Motor Show: “I’m proud and honored to be back at the helm of Lamborghini, particularly at this crucial time in the company’s history. We are working hard and preparing Lamborghini for a new era. Lamborghini will become an even stronger brand, both here in China and in the rest of the world, thanks to the new development plans that will be announced soon.”
